Mocomm are distributors of motorsport communications products. These systems are used all over the world, including Porsche Cup, NASCAR, ALMS, Indy and desert racing.

Radios:
· The core radio, the Vertex VX231, is a 5 watt, 16 programmable channel unit. We have extensively tested these, including Bathurst and Townsville street circuit. They have performed well above expectations. They have an effective range of 10 kms.
· The failure rate worldwide less than 1%.
· Nothing goes to market without being thoroughly tested, both here and overseas.
· They recharge very quickly and will hold a charge over a race weekend.
· They are light and compact.
· They are self powered; we do not touch the car’s electrical system.

Microphones:
· All microphones are noise cancelling and designed for high noise environments.
· All microphones are adjustable to ensure close fit.
· The helmet microphone is very effective even in open or very loud cars.

Earbuds:
· Hearing aid transducers, not speakers.
· Three main types:
o Foam tipped: Soft and pliable with replaceable foam tips. These come as a standard item.
o Silicon moulded plugs: Soft silicon construction with a moulded plug look. More durable and perhaps more comfortable. An upgrade from foam tips.

Fully moulded plugs: Professional mould taken of your ear and our transducers are inserted into medical grade silicon.

Antenna:
· Discreet Shark Fin style, available in black or white. Superior in performance to standard antenna. Matched to our systems.
o 3 db gain.
o Wide footprint.
o Earthing to body is critical for good performance.

Push to Talk (PTT) on steering wheel:
· Robust component with good feel even through gloves.
· Three options:
o Velcro mounted. Fits in seconds on any steering wheel. Comfortable and strong.
o Billet mounted. Higher grade PTT which attaches to a silver billet mount. Steering wheel is drilled to attach billet.
o Using existing buttons. PTT can be wired to a spare existing button on the steering wheel.
· Coiled cord ensures no snags.

Crew Chief Headset:
· Noise cancelling microphone.
· Highest quality speaker and ear protection.
· Available in “behind the head” or NASCAR over the head styles.
· All microphones adjust to suit the user.
· Separate jack to plug scanner straight in.
· Push to Talk button on headset and on cable to radio.
· NASCAR style available in Carbon Fibre.

Cabling:
· All cables and connectors are supplied.
· All cables are of the highest quality.
· Cabling can be ordered shorter for Formula or Sports cars.
